Trade Customers & Accounts

No account is required for any orders prepaid by cheque, credit or debit card. We can send you a quotation or pro-forma invoice based on your individual enquiries.

However, if you are interested in becoming a trade customer on account, please download the trade account application form supplied in two file types - word doc or PDF file.

For trade accounts we will need a few details from you regarding your business and trade status:

l VAT Registration # (if applicable)
l Copy of a Company Registration document
l Copy of a bank statement or cheque in the company name
l These can be posted or scanned and emailed.

Once our accounts department have checked the details, your account will be ready for use.

Trade Terms

l Pricing: All books are priced in UK sterling. The prices and availability of the goods are as shown. This information is subject to change without notice. Each price, as displayed and including discount, is inclusive of VAT (at the current standard UK rate). For Euro transactions we are pleased to offer the facility to process Euro payments via KBC Bank in Ieper, Belgium. Euro conversion is at the current rate of 1.49 Euro to the Pound Sterling.

l Discount: Trade accounts can benefit from extra discount dependent upon order value or turnover. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

l Ordering: All trade order enquiries are handled individually. This is to ensure the best discount is available to you at the time of ordering. For more information please email your requirements to sales@tommiesguides.co.uk

l Delivery: Provided at cost. This is usually made by DHL or Parcelforce with 24-48 hour for UK mainland and 2-5 working day delivery for most European countries. In the case of orders for multiple items which are subject to unavailability or pre-order, we will wait up to 30 days for your entire order to become available before despatching. If after 30 days all your items are still unavailable we will make multiple despatches of your items at no extra cost to you. You can of course request changes to your order. We will advise you on all unavailabilty.

l Payment: Payment is required 14 days from invoice date unless by prior arrangement.

l Availability: Most books are stocked for immediate supply from our warehousing partners in England. Specialist and slow-selling titles are not stocked and will require additional sourcing and handling. We will be pleased to advise you on these books as appropriate.

l Backorders: If a book is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will place it on back-order (unless no back-orders are requested) and despatch it as soon as it becomes available. Back-orders are invoiced at prices in effect at the time of despatch.

l Returns: If a book is damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise faulty this can be exchanged for a replacement item. If an item is unsold or unwanted for any other reason please contact us for more details.
